It involves more than 1000 lilac shrubs that cover the site of the popular yearly festival, various type of barberries, a number of Japanese Maples, 35 types of magnolias, a garden made of rocks, more than 600 variations of rhododendrons and azaleas, horse chestnuts, mountain laurel, Andromeda, a plenty of native wildflowers and spring bulbs, and various exotic trees.

Even if you aren’t into science you can see many interesting things you haven’t before, and it is a great place for kids to have some fun. There are many things to do there like use lasers, create robots, or use a catapult. It is also a great opportunity to learn about the world and what is outside of it. You can spend a whole day there because there are about 1.2 million items which most of are a part of some collection.
Something that attracts most of the people is the 3D version of our planet floating in the air in front of you. Other exciting activities include watching bolts of lightning very close to you, talking to a frog expert, and taking a virtual trip. It is a great place to boost your imagination.

Seneca Park Zoo
We live in a tech world now and we usually don’t pay much attention to wild animals. Most of us see them only on TV, so when you visit Rochester, it is a great opportunity to go to the Seneca Zoo. There are over 90 species of animals including polar bears, white rhinos, African elephants, and many others. There is also an underwater tunnel where you can see sea lions.
Zoo had only several species of deer, an aviary with some birds when it opened in 1893. A lot has changed from then, and animals are now suited better. A lot of species have plenty of room and you can feed some of them.
Finger Lakes Wine
If you like wine, this is the perfect place for you that produce some of the most popular wines in the U.S. There are eleven, finger-like, narrow, long lakes that have a great view all around with a great climate for wine production. Winters can be tough for plants, but because some lakes have great depth, it protects the grapes.
