When you have a large location like New York it is hard to figure out what you should visit first. Rochester is one of the largest cities there with plenty of places to visit. Highland Park

Spread across 60 hectares of hills and valleys, the park is a high-class landscape and arboretum created by Frederick Law Olmsted. It involves more than 1000 lilac shrubs that cover the site of the popular yearly festival, various type of barberries, a number of Japanese Maples, 35 types of magnolias, a garden made of rocks, more than 600 variations of rhododendrons and azaleas, horse chestnuts, mountain laurel, Andromeda, a plenty of native wildflowers and spring bulbs, and various exotic trees.

The park has a lot of attractions and facilities such as the John Dunbar Memorial Pavilion, Warner Castle, the Greater Rochester Vietnam Memorial, and the Lamberton Conservatory. All in all, it’s a great place to visit and most of the tours will go there. It is a great place to enjoy a sunny day.

You can spend a whole day there because there are about 1.2 million items which most of are a part of some collection.

Seneca Park Zoo

We live in a tech world now and we usually don’t pay much attention to wild animals. Most of us see them only on TV, so when you visit Rochester, it is a great opportunity to go to the Seneca Zoo. There are over 90 species of animals including polar bears, white rhinos, African elephants, and many others. There is also an underwater tunnel where you can see sea lions.
